Deuteronomy 32:22

22For aa fire is kindled by my anger,
and it burns to bthe depths of Sheol,
devours the earth and its increase,
and sets on fire the foundations of the mountains.

Deuteronomy 33:2

2He said,

c“The Lord came from Sinai
and dawned from Seir upon us;
Septuagint, Syriac, Vulgate; Hebrew them

he shone forth from Mount Paran;
he came efrom the ten thousands of holy ones,
with flaming fire
The meaning of the Hebrew word is uncertain
at his right hand.

Psalms 18:7-9

7 Then the earth greeled and rocked;
the foundations also of the mountains trembled
and quaked, because he was angry.
8Smoke went up from his nostrils,
Or in his wrath

and devouring ifire from his mouth;
glowing coals flamed forth from him.

Psalms 79:5

5 mHow long, O Lord? Will you be angry nforever?
Will your ojealousy pburn like fire?

Isaiah 9:5

5 qFor every boot of the tramping warrior in battle tumult

will be burned as fuel for the fire.

Isaiah 10:16-17

16Therefore the Lord God of hosts
will send wasting sickness among his rstout warriors,
and under his glory sa burning will be kindled,

and uhis Holy One a flame,
and vit will burn and devour
his thorns and briers win one day.

Isaiah 33:12

12And the peoples will be as if burned to lime,
xlike thorns cut down, that are burned in the fire.”

Isaiah 34:9

9 yAnd the streams of Edom
Hebrew her streams
shall be turned into pitch,
and her soil into sulfur;
her land shall become burning pitch.
