Deuteronomy 32:23-26

23 “‘And I will heap disasters upon them;
^aI will spend my arrows on them;
24 they shall be wasted with hunger,
and devoured by plague
and poisonous pestilence;
I will send ^bthe teeth of beasts against them,
with the venom of ^cthings that crawl in the dust.
25 ^dOutdoors the sword shall bereave,
and indoors terror,
for young man and woman alike,
the nursing child with the man of gray hairs.
26 ^eI would have said, “I will cut them to pieces;
^fI will wipe them from human memory,”

Joshua 10:10-11

10 ^gAnd the Lord threw them into a panic before Israel, who ^{▼▼Or and he} struck them with a great blow at Gibeon and chased them by the way of ⁱthe ascent of Beth-horon and struck them as far as Azekah and Makkedah. 11 And as they fled before Israel, while they were ^jgoing down the ascent of Beth-horon, ^kthe Lord threw down large stones from heaven on them as far as Azekah, and they died. 1 Kings 20:29-30

29 And they encamped opposite one another seven days. Then on the seventh day the battle was joined. And the people of Israel struck down of the Syrians 100,000 foot soldiers in one day. 30 And the rest fled into the city of ^lAphek, and the wall fell upon 27,000 men who were left.
