Deuteronomy 32:28-29

28 For they are a nation void of counsel,
and there is ano understanding in them.
29 bIf they were wise, they would understand this;
they would cdiscern their latter end!

and every neighbor ogoes about as a slanderer.
5Everyone deceives his neighbor,
and no one speaks the truth;
they have taught their tongue to speak lies;
they weary themselves committing iniquity.
6Heaping oppression upon oppression, and deceit upon deceit,
pthey refuse to know me, declares the Lord.

Jeremiah 10:8

8 qThey are both rstupid and foolish;
the instruction of idols is but wood!

Jeremiah 10:14

14 sEvery man is stupid and without knowledge;
tevery goldsmith is put to shame by his idols,
for his images are false,
uand there is no breath in them.
