Deuteronomy 32:30

30 How could ^aone have chased a thousand,
and two have put ten thousand to flight,
unless their Rock ^bhad sold them,
and the Lord had given them up?

Judges 2:14

14 ^cSo the anger of the Lord was kindled against Israel, and he ^dgave them over to plunderers, who plundered them. ^eAnd he sold them into the hand of their surrounding enemies, ^fso that they could no longer withstand their enemies.

Judges 3:8

8 Therefore the anger of the Lord was kindled against Israel, ^gand he sold them into the hand of ^hCushan-rishathaim king of Mesopotamia. And the people of Israel served Cushan-rishathaim eight years.

why, when I called, was there no one to answer?
^sIs my hand shortened, that it cannot redeem?
Or have I no power to deliver?
^tBehold, by my rebuke ^uI dry up the sea,
^vI make the rivers a desert;
^wtheir fish stink for lack of water
and die of thirst.
