Deuteronomy 32:32-33

32For their vine acomes from the vine of Sodom
and from the fields of Gomorrah;
their grapes are grapes of bpoison;
their clusters are bitter;
33their wine is the poison of cserpents
and the cruel venom of asps.

Psalms 80:8-16

8 You brought da vine out of Egypt;
you edrove out the nations and planted it.
9You fcleared the ground for it;
it took deep root and filled the land.
10The mountains were covered with its shade,
the mighty cedars with its branches.
11It sent out its branches to gthe sea
and its shoots to hthe River.
That is,  the Euphrates

12Why then have you jbroken down its walls,
so that all who pass along the way pluck its fruit?
13 kThe boar from the forest ravages it,
and all that move in the field feed on it.
14 Turn again, O God of hosts!
lLook down from heaven, and see;
have regard for this vine,
15the stock that your right hand planted,
and for the son whom you made strong for yourself.
16They have mburned it with fire; they have ncut it down;
may they perish at othe rebuke of your face!

Song of Solomon 2:13

13 pThe fig tree ripens its figs,
and qthe vines are in blossom;
they give forth fragrance.
rArise, my love, my beautiful one,
and come away.

Song of Solomon 2:15

15Catch sthe foxes
Or jackals
for us,
the little foxes
that spoil the vineyards,
ufor our vineyards are in blossom.”

Song of Solomon 6:11

She

11 I went down to the nut orchard
to look at vthe blossoms of the valley,
wto see whether the vines had budded,
whether the pomegranates were in bloom.

Song of Solomon 7:12

12let us go out early to the vineyards
xand see whether the vines have budded,
whether ythe grape blossoms have opened
and the pomegranates are in bloom.
There I will give you my love.

Song of Solomon 8:11-12

11 Solomon had za vineyard at Baal-hamon;
he aalet out the vineyard to abkeepers;
each one was to bring for its fruit aca thousand pieces of silver.
12My vineyard, my very own, is before me;
you, O Solomon, may have the thousand,
and adthe keepers of the fruit two hundred.

Isaiah 5:1-7

The Vineyard of the Lord Destroyed

1 Let me sing for my beloved
my love song concerning his vineyard:
My beloved had aea vineyard
on a very fertile hill.
2He dug it and cleared it of stones,
and planted it with afchoice vines;
he built a watchtower in the midst of it,
and hewed out a wine vat in it;
and aghe looked for it to yield grapes,
but it yielded wild grapes.
3 And now, O inhabitants of Jerusalem
and men of Judah,
judge between me and my vineyard.
4 ahWhat more was there to do for my vineyard,
that I have not done in it?
aiWhen I looked for it to yield grapes,
why did it yield wild grapes?
5 And now I will tell you
what I will do to my vineyard.
I will remove ajits hedge,
and it shall be devoured;
Or grazed over; compare Exodus 22:5

alI will break down its wall,
and it shall be trampled down.
6I will make it a waste;
it shall not be pruned or hoed,
and ambriers and thorns shall grow up;
anI will also command the clouds
that they rain no rain upon it.
7 aoFor the vineyard of the Lord of hosts
is the house of Israel,
and the men of Judah
are his pleasant planting;
and he looked for justice,
but behold, bloodshed;
The Hebrew words for  justice and  bloodshed sound alike

for righteousness,
but behold, an outcry!
The Hebrew words for  righteous and  outcry sound alike
