Deuteronomy 32:4
4 a“The Rock, bhis work is perfect,for call his ways are justice.
A God of faithfulness and dwithout iniquity,
just and upright is he.

15 “But eJeshurun grew fat, and fkicked;gyou grew fat, stout, and sleek;
hthen he forsook God iwho made him
and scoffed at jthe Rock of his salvation.
Deuteronomy 32:18
18You were unmindful of kthe Rock that bore ▼▼Or fathered
you,and you mforgot the God who gave you birth.
Deuteronomy 32:30-31
30How could none have chased a thousand,and two have put ten thousand to flight,
unless their Rock ohad sold them,
and the Lord had given them up?
31For ptheir rock is not as our Rock;
qour enemies are by themselves.
Deuteronomy 32:37
37Then he will say, r‘Where are their gods,sthe rock in which they took refuge,

They stumble because they disobey the word, aaas they were destined to do.
