1 eThe ffool says in his heart, g“There is no God.”
They are hcorrupt, they do abominable deeds;

to see if there are any who understand,
Or that act wisely

who lseek after God.
3 They have all turned aside; together they have become mcorrupt;
there is none who does good,
not even one.
4 Have they no nknowledge, all the evildoers
who oeat up my people as they eat bread
and pdo not call upon the Lord?

and the law of the Lord is with us’?
But behold, the lying pen of the scribes
has made it into a lie.
9 ajThe wise men shall be put to shame;
they shall be dismayed akand taken;
behold, they have rejected the word of the Lord,
so what wisdom is in them?
