Nehemiah 9:27

27 kTherefore you gave them into the hand of their enemies, who made them suffer. lAnd in the time of their suffering they cried out to you and you heard them from heaven, and according to your great mercies you gave them msaviors who saved them from the hand of their enemies.

Zechariah 9:12-16

12Return to your stronghold, O nprisoners of hope;
today I declare that oI will restore to you double.
13For pI have bent Judah as my bow;
I have made Ephraim its arrow.
I will stir up your sons, O Zion,
against your sons, qO Greece,
and wield you like a warrior’s sword.

The Lord Will Save His People

14 Then the Lord will appear over them,
and rhis arrow will go forth like lightning;
sthe Lord God will sound the trumpet
and will march forth in tthe whirlwinds uof the south.
15The Lord of hosts vwill protect them,
and wthey shall devour, xand tread down the sling stones,
and ythey shall drink and roar as if drunk with wine,
and be full like a bowl,
drenched zlike the corners of the altar.
16 On that day the Lord their God will save them,
as aathe flock of his people;
for ablike the jewels of a crown
they shall shine on his land.

Zechariah 10:3-5

3 ac“My anger is hot against the shepherds,
and adI will punish the leaders;
Hebrew  the male goats

for afthe Lord of hosts cares for his flock, the house of Judah,
and will make them like his majestic steed in battle.
4From him shall come agthe cornerstone,
from him ahthe tent peg,
from him the battle bow,
from him every ruleraiall of them together.
5They shall be like mighty men in battle,
ajtrampling the foe in the mud of the streets;
they shall fight because the Lord is with them,
and they shall put to shame akthe riders on horses.

Zechariah 12:2-6

2Behold, I am about to make Jerusalem ala cup of staggering to amall the surrounding peoples. The siege of Jerusalem anwill also be against Judah. 3 aoOn that day I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all the peoples. apAll who lift it will surely hurt themselves. And aqall the nations of the earth will gather against it. 4 arOn that day, declares the Lord, asI will strike every horse atwith panic, and its rider auwith madness. But for the sake of the house of Judah I will keep my eyes open, when I strike every horse of the peoples avwith blindness. 5Then the clans of Judah shall say to themselves, ‘The inhabitants of Jerusalem have strength through the Lord of hosts, their God.’

6 aw“On that day I will make the clans of Judah axlike a blazing pot in the midst of wood, like a flaming torch among sheaves. And aythey shall devour to the right and to the left all the surrounding peoples, while azJerusalem shall again be inhabited in its place, in Jerusalem.
