Deuteronomy 33:9-10

9 who said of his father and mother,
‘I regard them not’;
^ahe disowned his brothers
and ignored his children.
For ^bthey observed your word
and kept your covenant.
10 ^cThey shall teach Jacob your rules
and Israel your law;
^dthey shall put incense before you
and ^ewhole burnt offerings on your altar.

Matthew 10:37

37 ^fWhoever loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me, and whoever loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.
