Deuteronomy 4:1

Moses Commands Obedience

1“And now, O Israel, listen to athe statutes and the rules
Or just decrees; also verses 5, 8, 14, 45
that I am teaching you, and do them, cthat you may live, and go in and take possession of the land that the Lord, the God of your fathers, is giving you.

Deuteronomy 4:9

9 dOnly take care, and ekeep your soul diligently, lest you forget the things that your eyes have seen, and lest they depart from your heart all the days of your life. fMake them known to your children and your children’s children

Deuteronomy 5:29-33

29 gOh that they had such a heart as this always, to fear me and to keep all my commandments, hthat it might go well with them and with their descendants
Or sons
forever!
30Go and say to them, “Return to your tents.” 31But you, stand here by me, and jI will tell you the whole commandment and the statutes and the rules that you shall teach them, that they may do them in the land that I am giving them to possess.’ 32You shall be careful therefore to do as the Lord your God has commanded you. kYou shall not turn aside to the right hand or to the left. 33 lYou shall walk in all the way that the Lord your God has commanded you, that you may live, and mthat it may go well with you, and that you may live long in the land that you shall possess.

Deuteronomy 6:17

17You shall ndiligently keep the commandments of the Lord your God, and his testimonies and his statutes, which he has commanded you.

13“And if you will indeed obey my commandments that I command you today, oto love the Lord your God, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul,

22For if pyou will be careful to do all this commandment that I command you to do, loving the Lord your God, walking in all his ways, and qholding fast to him,

Blessings for Obedience

1“And tif you faithfully obey the voice of the Lord your God, being careful to do all his commandments that I command you today, the Lord your God will set you uhigh above all the nations of the earth. 2And all these blessings shall come upon you and vovertake you, if you obey the voice of the Lord your God. 3Blessed shall you be in the city, and wblessed shall you be in the field. 4Blessed shall be xthe fruit of your womb and the fruit of your ground and the fruit of your cattle, the increase of your herds and the young of your flock. 5Blessed shall be your basket and your ykneading bowl. 6Blessed shall you be zwhen you come in, and blessed shall you be when you go out.

7“The Lord aawill cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before you. They shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways. 8The Lord abwill command the blessing on you in your barns and acin all that you undertake. adAnd he will bless you in the land that the Lord your God is giving you. 9 aeThe Lord will establish you as a people holy to himself, as he has sworn to you, if you keep the commandments of the Lord your God and walk in his ways. 10And afall the peoples of the earth shall see that you are agcalled by the name of the Lord, and they shall be ahafraid of you. 11And aithe Lord will make you abound in prosperity, in ajthe fruit of your womb and in the fruit of your livestock and in the fruit of your ground, within the land that the Lord swore to your fathers to give you. 12The Lord will open to you his good treasury, the heavens, akto give the rain to your land in its season and alto bless all the work of your hands. And amyou shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow. 13And the Lord will make you anthe head and not the tail, and you shall only go up and not down, if you obey the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you today, being careful to do them, 14 aoand if you do not turn aside from any of the words that I command you today, to the right hand or to the left, to go after other gods to serve them.

Deuteronomy 30:16

16If you obey the commandments of the Lord your God

that I command you today, aqby loving the Lord your God, by walking in his ways, and by keeping his commandments and his statutes and his rules,
Or  his just decrees
then you shall live and multiply, and the Lord your God will bless you in the land that you are entering to take possession of it.

Joshua 1:7

7Only be strong and asvery courageous, being careful to do according to all the law atthat Moses my servant commanded you. auDo not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may have good success

wherever you go.
