Deuteronomy 4:27-28

27And the Lord awill scatter you among the peoples, band you will be left few in number among the nations where the Lord will drive you. 28And cthere you will serve gods of wood and stone, the work of human hands, dthat neither see, nor hear, nor eat, nor smell.

Deuteronomy 28:25

25 e“The Lord will cause you to be defeated before your enemies. You shall go out one way against them and flee seven ways before them. And you fshall be a horror to all the kingdoms of the earth.

2 Kings 17:23
