Deuteronomy 4:29-31

29 aBut from there you will seek the Lord your God and you will find him, if you search after him with all your heart and with all your soul. 30When you are in tribulation, and all these things come upon you bin the latter days, you will return to the Lord your God and obey his voice. 31For the Lord your God is ca merciful God. dHe will not leave you or destroy you or forget the covenant with your fathers that he swore to them.

2 Chronicles 30:9

9For eif you return to the Lord, your brothers and your children fwill find compassion with their captors and return to this land. For gthe Lord your God is gracious and merciful and will not turn away his face from you, hif you return to him.”

Psalms 86:5
