Deuteronomy 4:29-31

29 ^aBut from there you will seek the Lord your God and you will find him, if you search after him with all your heart and with all your soul. 30 When you are in tribulation, and all these things come upon you ^bin the latter days, you will return to the Lord your God and obey his voice. 31 For the Lord your God is ^ca merciful God. ^dHe will not leave you or destroy you or forget the covenant with your fathers that he swore to them.

Isaiah 55:6-9

6 ^e“Seek the Lord while he may be found;
call upon him while he is near;
7 let the wicked forsake his way,
and the unrighteous man his thoughts;
let him return to the Lord, that he may have compassion on him,
and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord.
9 ^fFor as the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Jeremiah 3:12-14

11 Say to them, ^zAs I live, declares the Lord God, ^aaI have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live; ^abturn back, turn back from your evil ways, ^acfor why will you die, O house of Israel?
