Deuteronomy 4:30

30When you are in tribulation, and all these things come upon you ain the latter days, you will return to the Lord your God and obey his voice.

2 Chronicles 30:6

6 bSo couriers went throughout all Israel and Judah with letters from the king and his princes, as the king had commanded, saying, “O people of Israel, creturn to the Lord, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, that he may turn again to the remnant of you who have escaped from the hand of dthe kings of Assyria.

2 Chronicles 30:9

9For eif you return to the Lord, your brothers and your children fwill find compassion with their captors and return to this land. For gthe Lord your God is gracious and merciful and will not turn away his face from you, hif you return to him.”

Isaiah 55:7

7let the wicked forsake his way,
and the unrighteous man his thoughts;
let him return to the Lord, that he may have compassion on him,
and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

Hosea 6:1

Israel and Judah Are Unrepentant

1 Come, let us ireturn to the Lord;
for jhe has torn us, that he may heal us;
he has struck us down, and khe will bind us up.

A Plea to Return to the Lord

1 nReturn, O Israel, to the Lord your God,
for oyou have stumbled because of your iniquity.
2Take with you words
and return to the Lord;
say to him,
Take away all iniquity;
accept pwhat is good,
and we will pay with bulls
qthe vows
Septuagint, Syriac  pay the fruit
of our lips.
3 sAssyria shall not save us;
twe will not ride on horses;
and uwe will say no more, ‘Our God,’
to the work of our hands.
vIn you the orphan finds mercy.”

Joel 2:12-13

Return to the Lord

12 “Yet even now,” declares the Lord,
wreturn to me with all your heart,
xwith fasting, with weeping, and with mourning;
13and yrend your hearts and not zyour garments.”
Return to the Lord your God,
aafor he is gracious and merciful,
slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love;
aband he relents over disaster.
