1“When the bLord your God brings you into the land that you are entering to take possession of it, and clears away many nations before you, cthe Hittites, the Girgashites, the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites, seven nations dmore numerous and mightier than you,Deuteronomy 11:23
23then the Lord ewill drive out all these nations before you, and you will fdispossess nations greater and mightier than you.
