Deuteronomy 4:6

6 aKeep them and do them, for bthat will be your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the peoples, who, when they hear all these statutes, will say, ‘Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.’

1 Kings 3:9-12

9 cGive your servant therefore an understanding mind dto govern your people, that I may ediscern between good and evil, for who is able to govern this your great people?”

10It pleased the Lord that Solomon had asked this. 11And God said to him, “Because you have asked this, and have not asked for yourself long life or riches or the life of your enemies, but have asked for yourself understanding to discern what is right, 12behold, fI now do according to your word. Behold, gI give you a wise and discerning mind, so that none like you has been before you and none like you shall arise after you.

Job 28:28

28And he said to man,
Behold, hthe fear of the Lord, that is wisdom,
and to iturn away from evil is understanding.’”

Psalms 111:10

10 jThe fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom;
all those who practice it have ka good understanding.
His lpraise endures forever!

Psalms 119:27

27 mMake me understand the way of your precepts,
and I will nmeditate on your wondrous works.

Proverbs 2:5

5then oyou will understand the fear of the Lord
and find the knowledge of God.

Proverbs 14:8

8The wisdom of the prudent is to discern his way,
but the folly of fools is deceiving.

Proverbs 23:23
