Deuteronomy 4:7-8

7For awhat great nation is there that has ba god so near to it as the Lord our God is to us, whenever we call upon him? 8And what great nation is there, that has statutes and rules so crighteous as all this law that I set before you today?

Deuteronomy 4:34-37

34Or has any god ever attempted to go and take a nation for himself from the midst of another nation, by trials, dby signs, by wonders, and eby war, fby a mighty hand and gan outstretched arm, and by great deeds of terror, all of which the Lord your God did for you in Egypt before your eyes? 35To you it was shown, hthat you might know that the Lord is God; ithere is no other besides him. 36 jOut of heaven he let you hear his voice, that he might discipline you. And on earth he let you see his great fire, and kyou heard his words out of the midst of the fire. 37And because lhe loved your fathers and chose their offspring after them
Hebrew his offspring after him
and brought you out of Egypt nwith his own presence, by his great power,

Isaiah 5:1-4

The Vineyard of the Lord Destroyed

1 Let me sing for my beloved
my love song concerning his vineyard:
My beloved had va vineyard
on a very fertile hill.
2He dug it and cleared it of stones,
and planted it with wchoice vines;
he built a watchtower in the midst of it,
and hewed out a wine vat in it;
and xhe looked for it to yield grapes,
but it yielded wild grapes.
3 And now, O inhabitants of Jerusalem
and men of Judah,
judge between me and my vineyard.
4 yWhat more was there to do for my vineyard,
that I have not done in it?
zWhen I looked for it to yield grapes,
why did it yield wild grapes?
