9 ^dWill you steal, murder, commit adultery, ^eswear falsely, ^fmake offerings to Baal, ^gand go after other gods that you have not known, 10 and then come and stand before me in this house, ^hwhich is called by my name, and say, ‘We are delivered!’—only to go on doing all these abominations? 11 ⁱHas this house, ^jwhich is called by my name, ^kbecome a den of robbers in your eyes? Behold, I myself have seen it, declares the Lord. 12 Go now to ^lmy place that was in Shiloh, ^mwhere I made my name dwell at first, and ⁿsee what I did to it because of the evil of my people Israel. 13 And now, because you have done all these things, declares the Lord, and ^owhen I spoke to you persistently you did not listen, and ^pwhen I called you, you did not answer, 14 therefore I will do to ^qthe house ^rthat is called by my name, and in which you trust, and to the place that I gave to you and to your fathers, ^sas I did to Shiloh. 15 ^tAnd I will cast you out of my sight, ^uas I cast out all your kinsmen, all the offspring of ^vEphraim.

Ezekiel 21:23-27

23 But to them it will seem like a false divination. ^wThey have sworn solemn oaths, but he brings their guilt to remembrance, ^xthat they may be taken.

24 “Therefore thus says the Lord God: Because you have made your guilt to be remembered, in that your transgressions are uncovered, so that in all your deeds your sins appear—because you have come to remembrance, ^yyou shall be taken in hand. 25 And you, O profane ^{▼▼Or slain; also verse 29} ^aawicked one, prince of Israel, ^abwhose day has come, ^acthe time of your final punishment, 26 thus says the Lord God: Remove the turban and take off the crown. Things shall not remain as they are. ^adExalt that which is low, and bring low that which is exalted. 27 A ruin, ruin, ruin I will make it. ^aeThis also shall not be, ^afuntil he comes, the one to whom judgment belongs, and I will give it to him.
