Deuteronomy 5:24-25

24And you said, ‘Behold, the Lord our God has shown us his glory and agreatness, and bwe have heard his voice out of the midst of the fire. This day we have seen God speak with man, and man cstill live. 25Now therefore why should we die? For this great fire will consume us. dIf we hear the voice of the Lord our God any more, we shall die.

Deuteronomy 32:21-24

21 eThey have made me jealous with what is no god;
they have provoked me to anger fwith their idols.
So gI will make them jealous with those who are no people;
I will provoke them to anger with ha foolish nation.
22For ia fire is kindled by my anger,
and it burns to jthe depths of Sheol,
devours the earth and its increase,
and sets on fire the foundations of the mountains.
23 “‘And I will heap disasters upon them;
kI will spend my arrows on them;
24they shall be wasted with hunger,
and devoured by plague
and poisonous pestilence;
I will send lthe teeth of beasts against them,
with the venom of mthings that crawl in the dust.

Psalms 11:6

6Let him rain coals on the wicked;
nfire and sulfur and a scorching wind shall be othe portion of their cup.

Psalms 21:9

9You will make them as pa blazing oven
when you appear.
The Lord will swallow them up in his qwrath,
and rfire will consume them.

Psalms 50:3

3 Our God comes; he sdoes not keep silence;
Or May our God come, and not keep silence

before him is a devouring ufire,
around him a mighty tempest.

Isaiah 5:24

24 Therefore, vas the tongue of fire devours the stubble,
and as dry grass sinks down in the flame,
so wtheir root will be xas rottenness,
and their blossom go up like dust;
for they have yrejected the law of the Lord of hosts,
and have zdespised the word of the Holy One of Israel.

Isaiah 29:6

6 aayou will be visited by the Lord of hosts
with thunder and with earthquake and great noise,
with whirlwind and tempest, and the flame of a devouring fire.

Isaiah 30:27-33

27 Behold, the name of the Lord comes from afar,
burning with his anger, and in thick rising smoke;

his lips are full of fury,
and his tongue is like a devouring fire;
28 achis breath is adlike an overflowing stream
that reaches up to the neck;
to sift the nations with the sieve of destruction,

29You shall have a song as in the night when a holy feast is kept, and gladness of heart, afas when one sets out to the sound of the flute to go to agthe mountain of the Lord, to ahthe Rock of Israel. 30And the Lord aiwill cause his majestic voice to be heard and the descending blow of his arm to be seen, in furious anger ajand a flame of devouring fire, with a cloudburst akand storm and hailstones. 31The Assyrians will be terror-stricken at the voice of the Lord, alwhen he strikes with his rod. 32And every stroke of the appointed staff that the Lord lays on them amwill be to the sound of tambourines and lyres. anBattling with brandished arm, he will fight with them. 33For aoa burning place
