Deuteronomy 6:10-12

10“And when the Lord your God brings you into the land that he swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give you—with great and good cities athat you did not build, 11and houses full of all good things that you did not fill, and cisterns that you did not dig, and vineyards and olive trees that you did not plant—and when you eat and are full, 12 bthen take care lest you forget the Lord, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery.

Deuteronomy 8:12-14

12 clest, when you have eaten and are full and have built good houses and live in them, 13and when your herds and flocks multiply and your silver and gold is multiplied and all that you have is multiplied, 14 dthen your heart be lifted up, and you eforget the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery,

Job 27:16-23

16Though he fheap up silver like dust,
and pile up clothing like clay,

Job 31:24-25

Psalms 39:6

6Surely a man abgoes about as a shadow!
Surely for nothing
Hebrew  Surely as a breath
they are in turmoil;
man adheaps up wealth and does not know who will gather!

Psalms 52:7

7See the man who would not make
God his refuge,
but aetrusted in the abundance of his riches
and sought refuge in his own destruction!”
