Deuteronomy 6:6-9

6And athese words that I command you today shall be on your heart. 7 bYou shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. 8 cYou shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. 9 dYou shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

Deuteronomy 17:18-20

18“And when he sits on the throne of his kingdom, ehe shall write for himself in a book a copy of this law, fapproved by
Hebrew from before
the Levitical priests.
19And hit shall be with him, and he shall read in it all the days of his life, ithat he may learn to fear the Lord his God by keeping all the words of this law and these statutes, and doing them, 20that his heart may not be lifted up above his brothers, and that he jmay not turn aside from the commandment, either to the right hand or to the left, kso that he may continue long in his kingdom, he and his children, in Israel.
