Deuteronomy 7:1-2

A Chosen People

1“When the aLord your God brings you into the land that you are entering to take possession of it, and clears away many nations before you, bthe Hittites, the Girgashites, the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites, seven nations cmore numerous and mightier than you, 2 dand when the Lord your God gives them over to you, and you defeat them, then you must edevote them to complete destruction.
That is, set apart ( devote) as an offering to the Lord (for destruction)
gYou shall make no covenant with them and show no mercy to them.

Deuteronomy 32:42-43

42I will make my arrows drunk with blood,
and hmy sword shall devour flesh
with the blood of the slain and the captives,
from the ilong-haired heads of the enemy.’
43 jRejoice with him, O heavens;

Psalms 137:8

8O daughter of Babylon, rdoomed to be destroyed,
blessed shall he be who srepays you
with what you have done to us!

Isaiah 14:22-23

22“I will rise up against them,” declares the Lord of hosts, “and will cut off from Babylon name and tremnant, udescendants and posterity,” declares the Lord. 23“And I will make it a possession of the vhedgehog,
Possibly porcupine, or owl
and pools of water, and I will sweep it with the broom of destruction,” declares the Lord of hosts.

Revelation of John 17:14-16
