Deuteronomy 7:4

4for they would turn away your sons from following me, to serve other gods. aThen the anger of the Lord would be kindled against you, and he would destroy you bquickly.

Deuteronomy 17:17

17And he cshall not acquire many wives for himself, lest his heart turn away, dnor shall he acquire for himself excessive silver and gold.

1 Kings 11:2

2from the nations concerning which the Lord had said to the people of Israel, e“You shall not enter into marriage with them, neither shall they with you, for surely they will turn away your heart after their gods.” Solomon clung to these in love.

Nehemiah 13:26-27

26 fDid not Solomon king of Israel sin on account of such women? gAmong the many nations there was no king like him, and he was hbeloved by his God, and God made him king over all Israel. Nevertheless, foreign women made even him to sin. 27Shall we then listen to you and do all this great evil and iact treacherously against our God by marrying foreign women?”
