Deuteronomy 7:4

4for they would turn away your sons from following me, to serve other gods. aThen the anger of the Lord would be kindled against you, and he would destroy you bquickly.

Joshua 22:16

16Thus says the whole congregation of the Lord, ‘What is this breach of faith that you have committed against the God of Israel in turning away this day from following the Lord by building yourselves an altar this day cin rebellion against the Lord?

1 Samuel 12:14

2 Chronicles 25:27

27From the time when he turned away from the Lord they made a conspiracy against him in Jerusalem, and he fled to Lachish. But they sent after him to Lachish and put him to death there.

2 Chronicles 34:33

33And Josiah took away jall the abominations from all the territory that belonged to the people of Israel and made all who were present in Israel serve the Lord their God. All his days they did not turn away from following the Lord, the God of their fathers.
