11“Take care lest you forget the Lord your God by not keeping his commandments and his rules and his statutes, which I command you today, 12 alest, when you have eaten and are full and have built good houses and live in them,

The Day of the Lord

6 For you have rejected your people,
the house of Jacob,
because they are full of things bfrom the east
and cof fortune-tellers dlike the Philistines,
and they estrike hands with the children of foreigners.

Isaiah 2:8

8Their land is ffilled with idols;
they bow down to gthe work of their hands,
to what their own fingers have made.

Isaiah 2:19

19 hAnd people shall enter the caves of the rocks
and the holes of the ground,
Hebrew dust

from before the terror of the Lord,
and from the splendor of his majesty,
jwhen he rises to terrify the earth.

Isaiah 8:19

19And when they say to you, “Inquire of the kmediums and the necromancers who chirp and mutter,” should not a people inquire of their God? Should they inquire of lthe dead on behalf of the living?
