Deuteronomy 8:12-14

12 alest, when you have eaten and are full and have built good houses and live in them, 13and when your herds and flocks multiply and your silver and gold is multiplied and all that you have is multiplied, 14 bthen your heart be lifted up, and you cforget the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery,

Deuteronomy 31:20

20For when I have brought them into the land dflowing with milk and honey, which I swore to give to their fathers, and they have eaten and are full and egrown fat, fthey will turn to other gods and serve them, and gdespise me and hbreak my covenant.
