Deuteronomy 8:13-17

13and when your herds and flocks multiply and your silver and gold is multiplied and all that you have is multiplied, 14 athen your heart be lifted up, and you bforget the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery, 15who cled you through the great and terrifying wilderness, dwith its fiery serpents and scorpions eand thirsty ground where there was no water, fwho brought you water out of the flinty rock, 16who fed you in the wilderness with gmanna that your fathers did not know, that he might humble you and test you, hto do you good in the end. 17Beware ilest you say in your heart, ‘My power and the might of my hand have gotten me this wealth.’

2 Chronicles 32:25-26

25But Hezekiah jdid not make return according to the benefit done to him, for khis heart was proud. Therefore lwrath came upon him and Judah and Jerusalem. 26But Hezekiah mhumbled himself for the pride of his heart, both he and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so that the wrath of the Lord did not come upon them in the days of Hezekiah.

Proverbs 29:23

23 nOne’s pride will bring him low,
obut he who is lowly in spirit will obtain honor.

2 Corinthians 12:7

7So pto keep me from becoming conceited because of the surpassing greatness of the revelations,
Or  hears from me, even because of the surpassing greatness of the revelations. So to keep me from becoming conceited
ra thorn was given me in the flesh, sa messenger of Satan to harass me, to keep me from becoming conceited.
