Deuteronomy 8:19-20

19 And if you forget the Lord your God and go after other gods and serve them and worship them, ^aI solemnly warn you today that you shall surely perish. 20 Like the nations that the Lord makes to perish before you, ^bso shall you perish, because you would not obey the voice of the Lord your God.

Deuteronomy 31:29

29 For I know that after my death ^cyou will surely act corruptly and turn aside from the way that I have commanded you. And ^din the days to come ^eevil will befall you, because you will do what is evil in the sight of the Lord, ^fprovoking him to anger through the work of your hands.”

Joshua 23:15-16

15 But just as all the good things that the Lord your God promised concerning you have been fulfilled for you, so the Lord will bring upon you ^gall the evil things, until he has destroyed you from off this good land that the Lord your God has given you, 16 if you transgress the covenant of the Lord your God, which he commanded you, and go and serve other gods and bow down to them. Then the anger of the Lord will be kindled against you, and you shall perish quickly from off the good land that he has given to you.”

Isaiah 63:17-18
