Deuteronomy 8:2
2And you shall remember the whole way that the Lord your God has led you athese forty years in the wilderness, that he might humble you, btesting you cto know what was in your heart, dwhether you would keep his commandments or not.Ezekiel 16:61-63

13though formerly I was a blasphemer, rpersecutor, and insolent opponent. But sI received mercy tbecause I had acted ignorantly in unbelief, 14and uthe grace of our Lord overflowed for me with the vfaith and love that are in Christ Jesus. 15The saying is wtrustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus xcame into the world to save sinners, yof whom I am the foremost.
