8a land of wheat and barley, aof vines and fig trees and pomegranates, a land of olive trees and honey,

Deuteronomy 32:14

14Curds from the herd, and milk from the flock,
with fat
That is,  with the best
of lambs,
rams of Bashan and goats,
with the very finest
Hebrew  with the kidney fat
of the wheat
and you drank foaming wine made from dthe blood of the grape.

2 Kings 7:1

Elisha Promises Food

1But Elisha said, “Hear the word of the Lord: thus says the Lord, eTomorrow about this time a seah
A  seah was about 7 quarts or 7.3 liters
of fine flour shall be sold for a shekel,
A  shekel was about 2/5 ounce or 11 grams
and two seahs of barley for a shekel, at the gate of Samaria.”

2 Kings 7:16-18

16Then the people went out and plundered the camp of the Syrians. So a seah of fine flour was sold for a shekel, and two seahs of barley for a shekel, haccording to the word of the Lord. 17Now the king had appointed ithe captain on whose hand he leaned to have charge of the gate. And the people trampled him in the gate, so that he died, as the man of God had said jwhen the king came down to him. 18For when the man of God had said to the king, “Two seahs of barley shall be sold for a shekel, and a seah of fine flour for a shekel, about this time tomorrow in the gate of Samaria,”

John 6:9

9“There is a boy here who has five kbarley loaves and two fish, but lwhat are they for so many?”

John 6:13

13So they gathered them up and filled twelve baskets with fragments from the five barley loaves left by those who had eaten.
