Deuteronomy 9:4

4 a“Do not say in your heart, after the Lord your God has thrust them out before you, ‘It is because of my righteousness that the Lord has brought me in to possess this land,’ whereas it is bbecause of the wickedness of these nations that the Lord is driving them out before you.

Isaiah 10:8-14

8for he says:
c“Are not my commanders all kings?
9 dIs not eCalno like fCarchemish?
Is not gHamath like hArpad?
iIs not jSamaria like Damascus?
10As my hand has reached to kthe kingdoms of the idols,
whose carved images were greater than those of Jerusalem and Samaria,
11shall I not do to Jerusalem and lher idols

“By the strength of my hand I have done it,
and by my wisdom, for I have understanding;
I remove the boundaries of peoples,
and plunder their treasures;
like a bull I bring down those who sit on thrones.
14My hand has found like a nest
the wealth of the peoples;
and as one gathers eggs that have been forsaken,
so I have gathered all the earth;
and there was none that moved a wing
or opened the mouth or chirped.”

Daniel 4:30

30and the king answered and said, r“Is not this great Babylon, which I have built by smy mighty power as a royal residence and for tthe glory of my majesty?”

Hosea 12:8

8Ephraim has said, “Ah, but uI am rich;
I have found wealth for myself;
in all my labors vthey cannot find in me iniquity or sin.”

Habakkuk 1:16

16 wTherefore he sacrifices to his net
and makes offerings to his dragnet;
for by them he lives in luxury,
