Deuteronomy 9:4-6

4 a“Do not say in your heart, after the Lord your God has thrust them out before you, ‘It is because of my righteousness that the Lord has brought me in to possess this land,’ whereas it is bbecause of the wickedness of these nations that the Lord is driving them out before you. 5 cNot because of your righteousness or the uprightness of your heart are you going in to possess their land, but because of the wickedness of these nations the Lord your God is driving them out from before you, and that he may confirm dthe word that the Lord swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.

6Know, therefore, that the Lord your God is not giving you this good land to possess because of your righteousness, for you are ea stubborn people.

Romans 3:27-28

27 fThen what becomes of our boasting? It is excluded. By what kind of law? By a law of works? No, but by the law of faith. 28For we hold that one is justified by faith gapart from works of the law.

Romans 4:4-5

4Now hto the one who works, his wages are not counted as a gift but as his due. 5And to the one who does not work but ibelieves in

him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is counted as righteousness,

Romans 5:20-21

20Now kthe law came in to increase the trespass, but where sin increased, lgrace abounded all the more, 21so that, mas sin reigned in death, ngrace also might reign through righteousness leading to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

1 Corinthians 15:10

10But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace toward me was not in vain. On the contrary, oI worked harder than any of them, pthough it was not I, but the grace of God that is with me.

Galatians 2:21

21I do not nullify the grace of God, for qif righteousness

were through the law, sthen Christ died for no purpose.
