Deuteronomy 9:7

7Remember and do not forget how you provoked the Lord your God to wrath in the wilderness. aFrom the day you came out of the land of Egypt until you came to this place, you have been rebellious against the Lord.

Deuteronomy 9:21-24

21Then bI took the sinful thing, the calf that you had made, and burned it with fire and crushed it, grinding it very small, until it was as fine as dust. And I threw the dust of it into the brook that ran down from the mountain.

22“At cTaberah also, and at dMassah and at eKibroth-hattaavah you provoked the Lord to wrath. 23And fwhen the Lord sent you from Kadesh-barnea, saying, ‘Go up and take possession of the land that I have given you,’ then you rebelled against the commandment of the Lord your God and gdid not believe him or obey his voice. 24 hYou have been rebellious against the Lord from the day that I knew you.

1 Samuel 8:7-8

7And the Lord said to Samuel, “Obey the voice of the people in all that they say to you, ifor they have not rejected you, jbut they have rejected me from being king over them. 8According to all the deeds that they have done, from the day I brought them up out of Egypt even to this day, forsaking me and serving other gods, so they are also doing to you.

Ezra 9:7

7 kFrom the days of our fathers to this day we have been in great lguilt. And for our iniquities we, our kings, and our priests have been given into the hand of the kings of the lands, to the sword, to captivity, to plundering, mand to utter shame, as it is today.

Nehemiah 9:16-18
