Ecclesiastes 11:1

Cast Your Bread upon the Waters

1 aCast your bread upon the waters,
bfor you will find it after many days.

Isaiah 19:5-7

5 And the waters of the sea will be dried up,
and the river will be dry and parched,
6and its canals will become foul,
and the branches of Egypt’s Nile will diminish and dry up,
reeds and rushes will rot away.
7There will be bare places by the Nile,
on the brink of the Nile,
and all that is sown by the Nile will be parched,
will be driven away, and will be no more.

Isaiah 30:23

23 cAnd he will give drain for the seed with which you sow the ground, and bread, the produce of the ground, which will be rich and plenteous. eIn that day your livestock will graze in large pastures,

Isaiah 55:10-11

10 fFor as the rain and the snow come down from heaven
and do not return there but water the earth,
making it bring forth and sprout,
ggiving seed to the sower and bread to the eater,
11so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth;
it shall not return to me empty,
but hit shall accomplish that which I purpose,
and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.
