Ecclesiastes 2:24

24 aThere is nothing better for a person than that he should beat and drink and find enjoyment
Or  and make his soul see good
in his toil. This also, I saw, is dfrom the hand of God,

12I perceived that there is enothing better for them than to be joyful and to fdo good as long as they live; 13also gthat everyone should eat and drink and take pleasure in all his toil—this is hGod’s gift to man.

18Behold, what I have seen to be lgood and fitting is to eat and drink and find enjoyment

Ecclesiastes 9:7-9

Enjoy Life with the One You Love

7Go, oeat your bread with joy, and drink your wine with a merry heart, for God has already approved what you do.

8 pLet your garments be always white. Let not qoil be lacking on your head.

9Enjoy life with the wife whom you love, all the days of your rvain
The Hebrew term hebel can refer to a “vapor” or “mere breath” (see note on 1:2)
