Ecclesiastes 3:12-13

12I perceived that there is anothing better for them than to be joyful and to bdo good as long as they live; 13also cthat everyone should eat and drink and take pleasure in all his toil—this is dGod’s gift to man.

Matthew 6:11

11 eGive us fthis day our daily bread,
Or  our bread for tomorrow

Matthew 6:25-33

Do Not Be Anxious

25 hTherefore I tell you, ido not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? 26 jLook at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. kAre you not of more value than they? 27And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his lspan of life?
Or  a single cubit to his stature; a cubit was about 18 inches or 45 centimeters
28And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, 29yet I tell you, neven Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, oO you of little faith? 31Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ orWhat shall we drink?’ orWhat shall we wear?’ 32For pthe Gentiles seek after all these things, and qyour heavenly Father knows that you need them all. 33But rseek first sthe kingdom of God and his righteousness, tand all these things will be added to you.

Hebrews 13:5-6

5Keep your life ufree from love of money, and vbe content with what you have, for he has said, w“I will never leave you nor forsake you.” 6So we can confidently say,

x“The Lord is my helper;
yI will not fear;
what can man do to me?”
