Ecclesiastes 5:19

19Everyone also to whom cGod has given dwealth and possessions eand power to enjoy them, and to accept his lot and rejoice in his toilthis is fthe gift of God.

Ecclesiastes 6:2

2a man gto whom hGod gives wealth, possessions, and honor, so that he ilacks nothing of all that he desires, yet God jdoes not give him power to enjoy them, but a stranger enjoys them. This is vanity;
The Hebrew term hebel can refer to a “vapor” or “mere breath”; also verses 4, 9, 11 (see note on 1:2)
it is a grievous evil.

Malachi 2:2

2 lIf you will not listen, if you will not take it to heart to give honor to my name, says the Lord of hosts, then I will send mthe curse upon you and I will curse nyour blessings. Indeed, I have already cursed them, because you do not lay it to heart.

Luke 12:19-20
