Be not rash with your mouth, nor let your heart be hasty to utter a word before God, for God is in heaven and you are on earth. Therefore blet your words be few. Ecclesiastes 5:6
6Let not your mouth lead you ▼▼Hebrew your flesh
into sin, and do not say before dthe messenger ▼▼Or angel
that it was fa mistake. Why should God be angry at your voice and destroy the work of your hands? Matthew 5:22
22But I say to you that geveryone who is angry with his brother ▼▼Some manuscripts insert without cause
will be liable ito judgment; whoever insults ▼▼Greek says Raca to (a term of abuse)
his brother will be liable to the council; and whoever says, ‘You fool!’ will be liable to kthe hell ▼▼Greek Gehenna; also verses 29, 30
