1So if there is any encouragement in Christ, any comfort from elove, any fparticipation in the Spirit, any gaffection and sympathy, 2 hcomplete my joy by being iof the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind. 3Do nothing from jselfish ambition or kconceit, but in lhumility count others more significant than yourselves.

James 3:13-18

Wisdom from Above

13Who is wise and understanding among you? tBy his good conduct let him show his works uin the meekness of wisdom. 14But if you have bitter vjealousy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast and be false to the truth. 15This is not wthe wisdom that comes down from above, but is earthly, unspiritual, xdemonic. 16For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there will be disorder and every vile practice. 17But ythe wisdom from above is first pure, then zpeaceable, gentle, open to reason, aafull of mercy and good fruits, abimpartial and acsincere. 18And ada harvest of righteousness aeis sown in peace by those who make peace.

1 Peter 2:1-3
