Ephesians 4:20-24

20But that is not the way you alearned Christ!— 21assuming that byou have heard about him and cwere taught in him, as the truth is in Jesus, 22to dput off eyour old self,

which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through gdeceitful desires,
23and hto be renewed in the spirit of your minds, 24and to put on ithe new self, jcreated after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.

1 Thessalonians 2:13

13And kwe also thank God constantly
Or without ceasing
for this, that when you received mthe word of God, which you heard from us, you accepted it nnot as the word of men
The Greek word anthropoi can refer to both men and women
but as what it really is, the word of God, pwhich is at work in you believers.

1 John 2:19

19 qThey went out from us, but they were not of us; for rif they had been of us, they would have continued with us. But they went out, sthat it might become plain that they all are not of us.

1 John 2:27

27But tthe anointing that you received from him abides in you, and uyou have no need that anyone should teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about everything, and vis true, and is no liejust as it has taught you, abide in him.
