Ephesians 4:25-32

25Therefore, having put away falsehood, let each one of you aspeak the truth with his neighbor, for bwe are members one of another. 26 cBe angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, 27and dgive no opportunity to the devil. 28Let the thief no longer steal, but rather elet him labor, fdoing honest work with his own hands, so gthat he may have something to share with anyone in need. 29 hLet no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give igrace to those who hear. 30And jdo not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, kby whom you were sealed for the day of lredemption. 31 mLet all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. 32 nBe kind to one another, tenderhearted, oforgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.

Ephesians 5:1-21

Walk in Love

1 pTherefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. 2And qwalk in love, ras Christ loved us and sgave himself up for us, a tfragrant uoffering and sacrifice to God.

3But vsexual immorality and all impurity or covetousness wmust not even be named among you, as is proper among saints. 4Let there be xno filthiness nor foolish talk nor crude joking, ywhich are out of place, but instead zlet there be thanksgiving. 5For you may be sure of this, that aaeveryone who is sexually immoral or impure, or who is covetous ( abthat is, an idolater), has no inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God. 6 acLet no one addeceive you with empty words, for because of these things aethe wrath of God comes upon afthe sons of disobedience. 7Therefore agdo not become partners with them; 8for ahat one time you were aidarkness, but now you are light in the Lord. ajWalk as children of light 9(for akthe fruit of light is found in all that is good and right and true), 10and altry to discern what is pleasing to the Lord. 11 amTake no part in the anunfruitful aoworks of darkness, but instead apexpose them. 12For aqit is shameful even to speak of the things that they do in secret. 13But when aranything is exposed by the light, it becomes visible, 14for anything that becomes visible is light. Therefore it says,

asAwake, O sleeper,
and atarise from the dead,
and auChrist will shine on you.”
15 avLook carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, 16 awmaking the best use of the time, because axthe days are evil. 17Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what aythe will of the Lord is. 18And azdo not get drunk with wine, for that is badebauchery, but bbbe filled with the Spirit, 19addressing one another in bcpsalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to the Lord with your heart, 20 bdgiving thanks always and for everything to God the Father bein the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, 21 bfsubmitting to one another out of reverence for Christ.
