Ephesians 5:3-5

3But asexual immorality and all impurity or covetousness bmust not even be named among you, as is proper among saints. 4Let there be cno filthiness nor foolish talk nor crude joking, dwhich are out of place, but instead elet there be thanksgiving. 5For you may be sure of this, that feveryone who is sexually immoral or impure, or who is covetous ( gthat is, an idolater), has no inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God.

Colossians 3:5

5 hPut to death therefore iwhat is earthly in you:
Greek  therefore your members that are on the earth
ksexual immorality, impurity, lpassion, evil desire, and covetousness, mwhich is idolatry.

1 Timothy 6:9-10

9But nthose who desire to be rich fall into temptation, ointo a snare, into many senseless and harmful desires that pplunge people into ruin and destruction. 10For the love of money is a root of qall kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs.

2 Peter 2:3

3And rin their greed they will exploit you swith false words. tTheir condemnation from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep.

2 Peter 2:14

14They have eyes full of adultery, uinsatiable for sin. They entice unsteady souls. They have hearts vtrained in greed. wAccursed children!
