Ephesians 5:3-5

3 But ^asexual immorality and all impurity or covetousness ^bmust not even be named among you, as is proper among saints. 4 Let there be ^cno filthiness nor foolish talk nor crude joking, ^dwhich are out of place, but instead ^elet there be thanksgiving. 5 For you may be sure of this, that ^feveryone who is sexually immoral or impure, or who is covetous ( ^gthat is, an idolater), has no inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God.

Colossians 3:5

5 ^hPut to death therefore ⁱwhat is earthly in you: ^{▼▼Greek therefore your members that are on the earth} ^ksexual immorality, impurity, ^lpassion, evil desire, and covetousness, ^mwhich is idolatry.

1 Timothy 6:9-10

9 But ⁿthose who desire to be rich fall into temptation, ^ointo a snare, into many senseless and harmful desires that ^pplunge people into ruin and destruction. 10 For the love of money is a root of ^qall kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs.

2 Peter 2:3

3 And ^rin their greed they will exploit you ^swith false words. ^tTheir condemnation from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep.

2 Peter 2:14

14 They have eyes full of adultery, ^uinsatiable for sin. They entice unsteady souls. They have hearts ^vtrained in greed. ^wAccursed children!
