Ephesians 6:5-7

Bondservants and Masters

5 aBondservants,
Or slaves; also verse 6 (for the contextual rendering of the Greek word doulos, see Preface)
obey your earthly masters
Or  your masters according to the flesh
with fear and trembling, dwith a sincere heart, eas you would Christ,
6not by the way of eye-service, as fpeople-pleasers, but as bondservants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart, 7rendering service with a good will as to the Lord and not to man,

Colossians 3:22-25

22Bondservants,

obey hin everything those who are your earthly masters,
Or  your masters according to the flesh
not by way of eye-service, as people-pleasers, but with sincerity of heart, fearing the Lord.
23 jWhatever you do, work heartily, kas for the Lord and not for men, 24knowing that from the Lord lyou will receive the inheritance as your reward. mYou are serving the Lord Christ. 25For the wrongdoer will be paid back for the wrong he has done, and there is no partiality.

1 Timothy 6:1-3

1 nLet all who are under a yoke as bondservants

regard their own masters as worthy of all honor, pso that the name of God and the teaching may not be reviled.
2Those who have believing masters must not be disrespectful on the ground that they are qbrothers; rather they must serve all the better since those who benefit by their good service are believers and beloved.

False Teachers and True Contentment

rTeach and urge these things.
3If anyone steaches a different doctrine and does not agree with tthe sound
Or healthy
words of our Lord Jesus Christ and the teaching vthat accords with godliness,

Titus 2:9-10

9 wBondservants

are to be submissive to their own masters yin everything; they are to be well-pleasing, not argumentative,
10not pilfering, zbut showing all good faith, aaso that in everything they may adorn the doctrine of God our Savior.
