Ephesians 6:5-8

Bondservants and Masters

5 aBondservants,
Or slaves; also verse 6 (for the contextual rendering of the Greek word doulos, see Preface)
obey your earthly masters
Or  your masters according to the flesh
with fear and trembling, dwith a sincere heart, eas you would Christ,
6not by the way of eye-service, as fpeople-pleasers, but as bondservants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart, 7rendering service with a good will as to the Lord and not to man, 8 gknowing that whatever good anyone does, this he will receive back from the Lord, hwhether he is a bondservant

or is free.

Colossians 3:22

22Bondservants,

obey kin everything those who are your earthly masters,
Or  your masters according to the flesh
not by way of eye-service, as people-pleasers, but with sincerity of heart, fearing the Lord.

1 Timothy 6:1-2

1 mLet all who are under a yoke as bondservants

regard their own masters as worthy of all honor, oso that the name of God and the teaching may not be reviled.
2Those who have believing masters must not be disrespectful on the ground that they are pbrothers; rather they must serve all the better since those who benefit by their good service are believers and beloved.
