Esther 4:14

14For if you keep silent at this time, relief and deliverance will rise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. And who knows whether you have not come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”

Esther 4:16

16Go, gather all the Jews to be found in Susa, and hold a fast on my behalf, and do not eat or drink for athree days, night or day. I and my young women will also fast as you do. Then I will go to the king, though it is against the law, band if I perish, I perish.”

39 cWhoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.

Mark 8:35

35For dwhoever would save his life
The same Greek word can mean either soul or  life, depending on the context; twice in this verse and once in verse 36 and once in verse 37
will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake fand the gospel’s will save it.

Luke 17:33

33 gWhoever seeks to preserve his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life will hkeep it.

John 12:25

25 iWhoever loves his life loses it, and jwhoever khates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life.

Acts 20:23-24

23except that lthe Holy Spirit testifies to me in every city that mimprisonment and nafflictions await me. 24But oI do not account my life of any value nor as precious to myself, if only pI may finish my course and qthe ministry rthat I received from the Lord Jesus, sto testify to tthe gospel of uthe grace of God.
