Esther 4:16

16Go, gather all the Jews to be found in Susa, and hold a fast on my behalf, and do not eat or drink for athree days, night or day. I and my young women will also fast as you do. Then I will go to the king, though it is against the law, band if I perish, I perish.”

Jeremiah 26:11-15

11Then cthe priests and the prophets said to the officials and to all the people, dThis man deserves the sentence of death, because he has prophesied against this city, as you have heard with your own ears.”

12Then Jeremiah spoke to all the officials and all the people, saying, “The Lord sent me to prophesy against this house and this city all the words you have heard. 13Now therefore emend your ways and your deeds, fand obey the voice of the Lord your God, gand the Lord will relent of the disaster that he has pronounced against you. 14 hBut as for me, behold, I am in your hands. Do with me as seems good and right to you. 15Only know for certain that if you put me to death, iyou will bring innocent blood upon yourselves and upon this city and its inhabitants, for in truth the Lord sent me to you to speak all these words in your ears.”

Daniel 3:16-18

16 jShadrach, Meshach, and Abednego answered and said to the king, “O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter. 17If this be so, kour God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of your hand, O king.
Or If our God whom we serve is able to deliver us, he will deliver us from the burning fiery furnace and out of your hand, O king.
18But if not, be it known to you, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the golden image that you have set up.”

Daniel 6:10-11

10When Daniel knew that the document had been signed, he went to his house where mhe had windows in his upper chamber open ntoward Jerusalem. He got down on his knees othree times a day and prayed and pgave thanks before his God, as he had done previously. 11Then these men came by agreement and found Daniel making petition and plea before his God.

Daniel 6:22

22My God qsent his angel rand shut the lionsmouths, and they have not harmed me, because I was found blameless sbefore him; tand also before you, O king, I have done no harm.”
