Esther 7:9-10

9 Then ^aHarbona, one of the eunuchs in attendance on the king, said, “Moreover, ^bthe gallows ^{▼▼Or stake; also verse 10} that Haman has prepared for Mordecai, ^dwhose word saved the king, is standing at Haman’s house, fifty cubits ^{▼▼A cubit was about 18 inches or 45 centimeters} high.” 10 And the king said, “Hang him on that.” ^fSo they hanged Haman on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai. ^gThen the wrath of the king abated.

14 So the king commanded this to be done. A decree was issued in Susa, and the ten sons of Haman were hanged.
