Exodus 1:16-17

16“When you serve as midwife to the Hebrew women and see them on the birthstool, if it is a son, you shall kill him, but if it is a daughter, she shall live.” 17But the midwives afeared God and did not do as the king of Egypt commanded them, but let the male children live.

1 Samuel 22:17-18

17And the king said to bthe guard who stood about him, “Turn and kill the priests of the Lord, because their hand also is with David, and they knew that he fled and did not disclose it to me.” But the servants of the king would not put out their hand to strike the priests of the Lord. 18Then the king said to Doeg, “You turn and strike the priests.” And Doeg the Edomite turned and struck down the priests, cand he killed on that day eighty-five persons who wore the linen ephod.

2 Samuel 11:15

15In the letter he wrote, “Set Uriah in the forefront of the hardest fighting, and then draw back from him, dthat he may be struck down, and die.”
