Exodus 10:12-15

12Then the Lord said to Moses, a“Stretch out your hand over the land of Egypt for the locusts, so that they may come upon the land of Egypt and beat every plant in the land, all that the hail has left.” 13So Moses stretched out his staff over the land of Egypt, and the Lord brought an east wind upon the land all that day and all that night. When it was morning, the east wind had brought the locusts. 14 cThe locusts came up over all the land of Egypt and settled on the whole country of Egypt, dsuch a dense swarm of locusts as had never been before, nor ever will be again. 15They covered the face of the whole land, so that the land was darkened, and ethey ate all the plants in the land and all the fruit of the trees that the hail had left. Not a green thing remained, neither tree nor plant of the field, through all the land of Egypt.

Psalms 105:34-35

34He spoke, and the flocusts came,
young locusts without number,
35which devoured all the vegetation in their land
and ate up the fruit of their ground.

Joel 1:4-7

5 Awake, you drunkards, and weep,
and kwail, all you drinkers of wine,
because of lthe sweet wine,
for it is cut off from your mouth.
6For ma nation has come up against my land,
npowerful and beyond number;
oits teeth are lionsteeth,
and it has the fangs of a lioness.
7It has laid waste my vine
and splintered my pfig tree;
it has stripped off their bark and thrown it down;
their branches are made white.

Joel 2:25

25I will restore
Or pay back
to you the years
that rthe swarming locust has eaten,
sthe hopper, tthe destroyer, and uthe cutter,
vmy great army, which I sent among you.

Amos 7:1-2

Warning Visions

1 wThis is what the Lord God showed me: behold, xhe was forming locusts when the latter growth was just beginning to sprout, and behold, it was the latter growth after the king’s mowings. 2When they had finished eating the grass of the land, I said,

“O Lord God, please forgive!
yHow can Jacob stand?
He is so small!”

Revelation of John 9:2-11

2He opened the shaft of the bottomless pit, and from the shaft zrose smoke like the smoke of a great furnace, and aathe sun and the air were darkened with the smoke from the shaft. 3Then from the smoke came ablocusts on the earth, and they were given power like the power of scorpions of the earth. 4They were told acnot to harm adthe grass of the earth or any green plant or any tree, but only those people who do not have aethe seal of God on their foreheads. 5They were allowed to torment them affor five months, but not to kill them, and their torment was like the torment of a scorpion when it stings someone. 6And in those days agpeople will seek death and will not find it. They will long to die, but death will flee from them.

7 ahIn appearance the locusts were like horses prepared for battle: aion their heads were what looked like crowns of gold; their faces were ajlike human faces, 8their hair like women’s hair, and aktheir teeth like lions’ teeth; 9they had breastplates like breastplates of iron, and the noise of their wings was allike the noise of many chariots with amhorses rushing into battle. 10They have tails and stings like scorpions, and their power to hurt people anfor five months is in their tails. 11They have aoas king over them the angel of the bottomless pit. His name in Hebrew is apAbaddon, and in Greek he is called Apollyon.
 Abaddon means destruction;  Apollyon means destroyer
