The Ninth Plague: Darkness

21Then the Lord said to Moses, a“Stretch out your hand toward heaven, that there may be bdarkness over the land of Egypt, a darkness to be felt.” 22So Moses stretched out his hand toward heaven, and there was pitch darkness in all the land of Egypt three days.

Joshua 10:12

12At that time Joshua spoke to the Lord in the day when the Lord gave the Amorites over to the sons of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel,

cSun, stand still at Gibeon,
and moon, in the Valley of Aijalon.”

The Coming of the Son of Man

29Immediately after nthe tribulation of those days othe sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and pthe stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
